MGF - A Hobby Taking Over My Life!

I bought a Suzuki SV650s as a way to get my kicks. I loved it, went out to meets and shows and had a great time.
Then the summer turned to winter. A bike is not so practical in ice and snow. A new plan was needed. Now I had always liked the MGF but never considered buying one because of the horror stories of quality and reliability which had put me off.
More as an act of the heart rather that of the head I saw an MGF advertised locally, took it for a test drive and before I knew it had it sitting on my drive!
Now I still have the bike but I have no desire to ride it. The MGF now gives me the excitement the bike once did. I really do not understand why. I have had many cars including 4x4,s, hot hatches and so called up-market motors.
What is it about these cars? They are not particularly fast and somewhat noisy but I love driving it. It is twelve years old and is supposed to be my second car but there is something about it I can't describe. I even spend too much time on MG forums finding more information about them.
I follow the weather forecast intently hoping for a dry day so that I can drive "topless"
What started off as a bit of fun and backup transport for the bike is taking over my life! Is this a normal part of MGF ownership or do I need help?
Oh, I just love this car!!!!!!

There I have said it!
Seriously AyB, if you are going to sell your bike, and if it's anywhere half decent my story is....
I had a Yamaha FZ6 very low mileage ( due to last summer's weather ). I put it on the old 'bay one saturday at what I thought was a sensible price and it sold within 45 minutes, for my 'Buy it now' price.
The buyer came from Holland and picked it up the following monday, paid cash, and said he was picking up 14 other bikes on a trip round britain. The rate of exchange £ to Euro was then so good he got bikes cheap, and we were happy with the price. I know the Euro's had a bit of a knock recently but still worth it for them to come over here i am sure.
Deal ended with me having more than enough cash to buy, insure and tax the MGF, he had what he deemed a cheap bike to retail on.
