When I went to Brooklands MG Day a few weeks ago I was quite taken aback by some of the clothing being worn. This was mainly the guys with early MG's.
It was as if they were trying to create the image and atmosphere of days gone by.

This was my first visit to any MG meeting and I did feel slightly under dressed in that company. I arrived in what I thought was OK clothing. This consisted of a beanie hat and a hoodie complemented by jeans and trainers!!! I was not alone in dressing like this but I felt maybe a little uneasy. Maybe I should have taken the advice below...........

But seriously........

It has just got me thinking............

Do you dress a certain way when going out hood down or are you happy with whatever you are wearing at the time? I see many baseball caps and woolly hats being worn at these times. Are they some form of uniform that needs to be worn when driving open top cars?

Or are they just being practical?
Your thoughts please. :bye:

A scarf would be a good accessory To hide that silly smile that seems to appear when driving with the hood down.

I wear whatever I feel comfy in. I have my car for my enjoyment not to fit in with some stereotype or group!

Yup, anything that I'd be wearing normally. I always have a couple of hats and warm clothing in the boot in case of chilly night drive homes:yesnod:

It has just been pointed out to me that perhaps in my first post there was "too much information"

It has therefore been suggested that I need to have an extra fitted to one of my windows. I have never seen one before on a MG. Maybe I can start a new trend!!!!!!

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

I think I'll take your advice David and get the "Club Clothing" :bye:

Absolutely! Looks fab by the way David! Think that's the first time I've ever seen Sheila's.

I must remember to post pics of mine actually.
