Ok so when I sold Slave I took the CD player out but now I've come to putting it back in and the damn ****ing thing won't work!

I've attached pics of the back of the CD player but I just can't see what I'm doing wrong. Basically, I've plugged the aerial in on the left and also the main plug(?) with all the wires. On the far right is the USB connector so haven't bothered with that yet. I've also hit the reset button.

So why isn't it working? :tantrum:

I can't think of anything I've done/haven't done wrong.

I just wanna listen to some tunes! :sad2:

Hi Kara,
I know its basics but are both fuses that feed the audio unit intact, one is usually the supply and one for the memory.Has someone in the past put an inline fuse holder in the circuit?

Hi Neil,

I'm not sure... where are the fuses? I've checked the two labelled ICE under the steering collum... are they the ones you mean?

Are there any lights at all coming on, even when you switch the sidelights on? Do you have the ignition on?

After that, you need to get a volt meter in there to check the supplies and earth.

Ask the guy who looked after slave if they did any work on the audio.

I think I'm gonna need to do that as the ignition is on, but the cd player just isn't working. :frown:

Literally Steve had it for a couple of weeks before he took the CD player out and sent it to me (I was gonna put it in the ZS).

So not really possible unfortunately. :frown:

No, you silly mare, the audio in the car, not the headunit.

There is often a small fuse tucked away on the back of the head unit. Worth a check:dunno:
