I need pumping up.

Can anyone recomend any where in north West Sussex or south east Surrey that can do me a pump up?

I've tried the 2 listed locally on the http://www.hydragas.co.uk/ website, the one in Horsham have a broken machine that only sucks and I visited the other one who did not inspire me with confidence, I was worried he'd loose the car under the parts littering his garage! I also mailed Russel but he seems to be over busy at the moment.

We were planning a trip next weekend so this is quite urgent.

Thanks

James

James, Try these guys, http://www.moto-build.co.uk/home.cfm in Egham
Not sure how far they are from you, they did a rear window and suspension pump for me 12 months ago. Cost me £45 for the pump up I think.

A real old fashioned workshop with loads of MGB's lying around in the grounds, all the mechanics seemed older than me, and thats saying something.

Older but certainly not wiser!

Hi James, Moto Build are good and should be able to sort you out, i do have two more that can do this, probably quicker to email me directly for details This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ~ it is reccomended that you have the four wheel tracking checked/adjusted after pumping up to avoid excessive wear on the inside edges of the tyres (as the suspension rises the steering angles alter. you can check how far the car is down by measuring from the top centre of the wheelarch to the centre of the wheel, the reccomended dimension is 368 mm plus or minus 10mm ~ hope this helps Regards Bryan

Hi James, we will all be interested about your suspension pump-up, its a common problem and we all would like to know if it was just a pump or more serious problems, did you get the tracking done?? regards Bryan

Dan came over with his pump and did his magic so now the car is where MG said it should be, I've only had a ghance to run around the block so can't comment further.
