Pulled trailing link out today and checked out all ok , visited a friend mechanics garage to ask for advice he says hes had rovers of various types with similar probs ,as mine appears to have been stood for a while before we bought it in a garage of a finance company, things seem to show signs of very light perishing of the rubber bushes all tho not enough to affect there use, He suggests a light oiling of the bush bolts and generally round the casings to see if this will aleviate and creaks.I have checked round all and everything and found nothing really major except a worn track rod end which has now been changed.
Will keep posted if things improve

Hi can anyone advise me what are the best settings to use on the new MGOC Bilstein Comfort Ride dampers?

How hard are these suckers to fit?

I mean.. I know you need a spring compression mechanism.. but, other than that, how difficult?

A guy I know is going to fit them, sorry I don't know how difficult they are to fit.
