R.I.P Dear dora.......
as some of you already know via my facebook page, i had a bit of a bump on monday morning....
i came round a corner to find a rather large pick-up heading towards me on my side of the road whilst overtaking another car.......
not a lot could be done except to wait for inevitable bang
anyway poor Dora suffered a rather fatal injury BUT she did not go without a fight and managed to remove a wheel from the big bully of a pick-up
both myself and the other driver were mainly unhurt, both just suffering from bruises and whiplash, considering the circumstances it could have been much worse!!
I've seen in previous threads about how good these little cars are in accidents and the fact i walked away unscathed is testament to that
so now the search begins for a replacement...........

At least you're OK, Phil.:yesnod:
Best of luck in the search for a replacement.
Get one that's got a top coat of paint on this time!
Perhaps, a nice bright colour, so other cars can see you coming.:dunno:

Sorry to see this and I'm pleased that you are ok.
If you get the chance to back the remains back from the insurance company go for it, if they write the car off ask the question because they don't always tell you.
