How do I take the glass out of the electric mirror?

I have a spare lying about somewhere. If you wait until tomorrow I'll put up some pictures of me dismantling it.

The black surround 'clips' off the coloured bit. I used a nail file to do it ages ago but it is just luck from what I remember if you mange to do it without snapping a clip!

Having said that, you can, if you're bold, remove the glass without dismantling the mirror.

If you push the glass so you can get your finger ends around the the outer edge.





If you look within the mirror you will see a bare metal plate



Use one finger to push that metal plate back as you pull the glass outwards.



The glass will release from the cradle, you will then need to undo the two electrical clips to remove the glass.

Sat was new tyres on zs/step kids to heathrow to see dad in sydney
