Depending on how things go with the clutch etc on the car, I may change the car for a TF... although I have learnt a few bits on the way, I feel I was sold a bit of "Lemon"... want to avoid doing this again, so, is there anyone local to me who would be willing give a new car the once over, should I end up getting one...

Will obviously cover petrol costs etc...

2003 MGTF Monogram Edition. Celestial Blue, Black Leather.No. 19 of 99 Built 11 Spoke Alloys. AP brakes.

I would reccomend that you go to a specialist dealer and get a warranty, it will be more expensive but you are less likely to get another "dog" there are loads of lovely TFs out there and loads of rubbish. The TFs still suffer from HGF and have a very harsh ride (not everyones opinion, but i find them "teeth chattering") Have a look at Church Square Autos at Shepperton www.churchsquareautos.com they are pricey but have a lot of good cars with solid history (one of our Epsom club members bought a beautiful TF 135 Spark with full history from them and its a superb car ~ cost £8450 but has won many prizes with it in the last year) you could also try the MGF Register at the MG Car Club www.mgfregister.org hope this all helps, please let us know how you get on:yesnod:

i am not far from sandhurst, still learning about the MGF but have done basic suspension refresh on mine, and watch the Head and cam covers come off on more than a few occations! I would know what to look for on an F, and the suspension on a TF is much easier to play with...
