So does anyone have any pictures as to how MGF/TF alloys look when they're chromed/polished/anodised?
Obviously don't want it to look too chavtastic.

I was going to get them repainted a nice unique colour with the fade similar to CJJ's, but then I started thinking about good old fashioned chrome hubs.

I know you can get a chrome effect paint, but haven't seen any wheels done with it.

I would really suggest that you go to the unit in Newcastle and have a look at some of the examples, as they look totally different in real life.

Posted 14 years 3 months ago #15500I might have a drive up and a good look around there soon. Gives me a chance to discuss options and pricing with them face-to-face, it's more personal than just nattering over the phone.
Will have to wait a while though, as my wallet is sobbing after the brake overhaul and I want to dynamat the doors first as that's not a big job.
[EDIT: If I wait until after the MOT in January I can also get them to fit new rear tyres, depending on if my current ones get an advisory or not]

Posted 14 years 3 months ago #15503Though I think blue rims on a trophy blue car might look a little.. over the top.
Quite liking the flash chrome so far.

Nice wheels, great colour just a shame about the dodgy German badge on them.
