We've got a mk1 VVC with a MEMS2J ecu, what is involved in upgrading to MEMS3?

wouldnt you be better off getting an emerald ECU, fully programable and 2nd hand can be had for about £400, just upgraded my MEMS3 unit to an emerald.
My MEMS3 unit will be available soon if you dont want to go emerald, and want to buy my MEMS3 ECU.

I think there's a fair bit of work involved TBH.
I don't know definitively, but this is what I think you would need to do.
1. Replace the head and the cover with a mems3 version.
2. Replace the Flywheel with a later version.
3. Replace the engine loom with a mems3 version.
4. Replace the Exhaust manifold, flexi pipe, and cat for a later version.
5. Replace the inlet manifold for a later version.
6. Replace the instrument pack and loom for a later version.
Because the mems3 uses coilpacks on top of the head, no distributor, two lambda sensors on the exhaust, and electronic speedo.
I am just guessing here and will be happily corrected if anyone knows.

Thanks, I was hoping for a basiclly plug and play solution as I wanted to take advantage of 52mm throttles and remap etc but if I go down the route of a new ECU it'll be a megasquirt but not until I've done the same on the maestro T16.
