Members Map

I see you've added a map of members' locations, Simon.
Does every one have to allow the website to locate them, before they show up?

Mmm, As I'm in Anglesey, I suspect that Simon's geography is a bit wanting. I see Clive's in Oldham :lol:

Its putting you in the wrong place because thats what i'm getting back from your broadband provider, still working on that bit, finding a way working out where guests are or members who don't fill in there location.

Working well is the parts of the site feeding from this information, Namely the members near you and the events map, The members near you at the bottom will display the 6 members who are closest to you, based on county, 2nd is the events map, shows all the locations of any events which have been created under social, so memebers can see at a glance what events or runs are near them.

A little way to go yet.

Hopefully not, Currently IE 8/9 and Firefox 4 popup the message

Didnt realise I live in Kurdistan

The interesting thing is that the map comes up of the correct area centred around my true location. ie Aiketgate, Cumbria. So it obviously knows my location.

Not really, the map is centred on the right place but my avatar is still in Anglesey.:lol:
