been busy swapping my mk1 console for the latter mk2, but stuck on the clock and temp gauge.i fancy the later silver face clock to match my console.but now stuck with what wire goes where.
can anybody help me with wiring details on which wires to connect
4 wire mgtf clock to 3 wire mgf car also same with oil temp gauge 5 wire to 4 wire thanks guys

The usual way is to swap the clocks over in the console and keep the cream dials.. as the connectors are not the same.

i nearly gave up and kept the creamfaced dials. but managed to sort the clock out up and running ,not sure if i like the amber back light tho.
just got to sort out the temp gauge. will keep you all posted when i do. can some one can shed any light on the temp gauge wires

What are the colours of the two sets of wires?
