hi guys just finished converting my mgf mk1 console to a mk2.the air vents were coverd in a tacky carbon fibre so out they come and i removed it and gave the a good clean with some meths. i did use the mgtf clocks but could mot change the orange lighting on them with out taking them to bits so spotted the mgf silver face dials on ebay going cheap and fitted green leds to them. i hope you engoy as its not to every ones taste.

That looks great. Have to say the swap from Mk1 to Mk2 console just makes the whole interior look more modern. When I did Meg's it was like I was looking at new car- and yours looks as good too! Well done - on with more of the Dark Side now eh?!

yes it does look more modern,i just need to order some leds for the fog and heated rear screen and the window switches as i have changed all my other lights to green leds.

your console looks smart. i got mine of ebay, its been sprayed silver but not by me tho. did you spray yours .have you kept the same lighting or changed to leds.

just started to do my switches, got the leds from maplins,bit confused tho i showed them the switch bulb that was in there and they said i dont need a resister with the led. i have changed the one switch and have tried it, so far so good . also took some pics for a how to do it,will post soon.
