Dynamat
I'm using my TF as my everyday car and unfortunately that means sometimes driving with the roof up. One thing I've noticed is that with the roof up my X-Power exhaust can be a bit boomy at 60-70mph. I know the real answer is to drive faster or with the roof down but failing that where are the places that some sound deadening material like Dynamat would make a real difference?

That's far too simple for you. There's no hydraulics for a start

I would try the boot floor first. Then, maybe the inside of the rear wings.
Perhaps a layer on the engine inspection panel?

you could do the engine access hatch and petrol tank access hatch but there sound proofed with that horrible stuff MG used anyway
doing the boot may stop some of the noise reverberating in the boot but it cant see it being allot of difference really the noise is still going to enter the car
only option would be a quieter exhaust or if you have a de-cat put the car back on (my de-cat made a huge difference but i wanted noise all the time lol)
