well after a lot of fretting i managed to fit my sound system into the mgf. i fitted a kenwood KDC-6047U with fli triaxal speakers at the front and In Phase XTC640 6 x 4 inch 160W 2-way coaxial speakers 15 x 10 cm in the rear with a amp to give it some depth. i also fitted some infinity tweeters to the doors what i had given me. i originaly wanted to fit the rear speaker brkts but decided the standard speakers were not up to scratch so i cut the excisting t bar cover to fit and there is no gap around the speaker cover, that pleased me. now i have the sound i wanted:lol:

quite easy, i put the speaker on the front of the t bar , drew around it then cut using a drimmel, the last bit was that i screwed the speaker onto the t bar with just adding a extra screw to the top center just to pull it in. the reason i did it this way is that it gave me enough clearence for the back of the speaker magnet to the metal t bar. the door cards with the tweeters in i just drilled a bigger enough hole to fit the tweeter the cross overs i fitted inside the door card itsely there was enough room for them

I fitted some Alpine door speakers at the weekend (well one in the middle of the week, the other this weekend) to tide me over until the fosgate stuff turns up - anyway I digress..

You will need to cover your crossovers in something otherwise water will hump them :( I used a a latex glove over each with an elastic band to seal the end (the gloves I wear when doing dirty car jobs); I did think of using condoms as well :P
