MOT today
Only needed 2 new track rod ends and no advisaries! :woohoo:
They also gave the TF a good looking over in case there was anything else and found that the exhaust manifold was blowing, but this was only done 6 months ago (different garage) - anyone know if this is a recurring problem with the K series?

on my TR-7. It doesn't use a gasket and the sealant does a super job.

I use it anywhere a sealant will be exposed to high heat. The official name is Permatex Ultra Copper. Item no 101BR
They claim it is safe to 700f/371c. It's a little less stringy than regular silicone but makes a mess like the proverbial____ on a blanket!
My car should be here any day. The railcar was due to arrive Sunday but no word yet so either the train is running late, they haven't got it unloaded or they just aren't organised enough to call me! This is after a week on the Atlantic, two weeks snowed in at the Halifax rail yard and two weeks on the train. I bought it in mid-December and haven't got to lay hands on it yet!
The suspense is killing me!
