Hoops and windstops
Has anyone any thoughts re - pros and cons of these. Does the combination of mesh and glass work well or would I be better off with all mesh or all glass for the windstop. The reason I'm drawn to these is mainly because of looks, but I don't want to end up with something that might be a pain to live with.
As always, thanks in advance for any comment.

One of the best buys I ever made,
which ever one you go for Mikes are the strongest, while no one will ever give you a warrenty on the safety side Mikes replace the Tin mounting with a full steel box section and are tough as nails

The mesh windstop was probably better at it's job, but the boxters look sweet!

Reason I ask is that my son and I saw one at the MG parts show and thought it would look good EXACTLY where you have put yours.
Take it it's just drill 2 holes and fit but waht attatches to the pins at the back?
Also thinking of the larger chrome/black octagon for the top of the dash - where that 'orrible molded bit is.

I'm not sure which badge it is, but it does look good there! I drilled two holes of a diameter so that the two prongs were a tight fit. Job's a good 'un.
Only problem with chroming up the octagon on the top of the dash is that it'll reflect in the windscreen.

I think I will go for the airbag blank one - that looks really nice
as long as you don't object to the plagurism
BTW I just found out that it is a MG Midget dash badge.

I enclose a photo which I have just taken in the garage ,as I have difficulty getting in to the car I have taken them through the windscreen ,which accounts for poor quality ,and reflections from ceiling lights six in all.hope this is of some use to you, should you wish I could post more pics when I next get the car out.Cheers RON.

I bought these rings & letters some time ago on ebay they are made of alloy & are dull so you can polish to your liking, mine are perhaps a little bright ,which does not bother me ,to me they look great. They need shaping to the dash, and I stuck mine down.
