Am in the UK often but no trips scheduled until later in the year and I don't want to have the car off the road that long.... Am going to do some intensive investigation on the reasons for the current failure but (together with another F owner nearby) am going to order a set so if tracking down a cure is not possible I'll have it ready to fit. If we find a simple cure am sure I'll be able off load the kit locally. I'd rather keep the set up we've come up with as its (bolt shearing aside) its been trouble free and brilliant.
Tell me more of your conversion, it would seem a better and cheaper way to go.

Its not sadly as we've discovered a problem with uneven stress occurring on the lower bolt. It needs a form of triangulation in order to make it unbreakable.

Hi,
Thanks for your enquiry,
Firstly, the kit will retail at £830+vat when in stock (hopefully by the end of March). We are currently offering a £100 club discount, if a £200 deposit is paid before the 5th March. This can be paid over the phone (ask for Dean) or by bank transfer (ask members to email me for details)
The items are currently sold as a complete kit, this may change once the kit is available. But I cannot be sure at the moment.
We are still awaiting the arrival of one kit here. So we are yet to test this ourselves. Once we have a kit here we can take a few photos of fitting and maybe test with some optional items.
The fitting of the kit is simply as a direct replacement for the original displacer, utilising the original pressed steel mounting plates. There is a slight fiddle to mount on the balljoint then offer up to the body, with the adjuster fully in. Once bolted in place the adjuster is wound out fully to set the car at the optimum standard ride height. The car can be lowered only to a point which does not interfere with the standard geometry.
I have attached a photo which should make this clearer.
If you have anymore questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
Regards,
