I asked him, 'Are you off home after this?'
'No, i'm doing another in North Yorkshire this afternoon.'
Driving up here from Kent, doing 3 HGs and home again in a day!:omg:
Not to mention he took part in the 'Friends round London' M25 run last night.

HG fixed, according to Russell!
He declined Iain's request to pop a new gear cable in for him though.
ps Forgot to mention Russel's also putting ss underfloor pipes on John's car.

That is why he is called Saint Russell :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: , It is quite ironic that people will pay £1000 to £1600 to have a head gasket etc done, because the garage tells them that it takes 10 (TEN HOURS) of workshop time. plus parts!!!! and, and, and , he wont do it if he thinks its ok and the water loss is for some other reason. Everyone can now see why he is so busy, but what a great guy.:silly:

He came and gave my TF a full service last Friday as well as SS pipes and spotted that my alternator belt was ready to let go and so replaced it for me.
So much better than that call you always get from the main dealer when something new appears.
Back with front wheel drive and 181HP at the wheels

Picked up a few tips from him as well.
It has filled me with enthusiasm so I decided to do the front discs and pads after watching Russell, then stripped the lock nut for the wheels half way through the job (just like you thought David) and now it looks like my alternator has stopped alternating.
Somedays you should just stay indoors all day!
