You mean the clock and oil temp gauges? You can get replacements on ebay. Just be careful to get like for like as the mk1 and mk2F/TF have different faces and connections.

But you'll need to be sure what's not working. Fuses? oil temp sender etc.

Not the oil temperature .. the heater knob (out of the three dials the one on the right)

The Clock just keeps speeding up and shows random times .. even after setting the right time..

The heater dial plastic is broken from the inside.. Infact, while turning it, I can simply pull it out .. and can see the broken edges..

The broken knob should just pull off its fixing and be replaced by the new one. you say the plastic dial behind is also broken, so you may also need the second part, have a look to see what you need before ordering

There is a 'quick fix' that may work for the clock - it did on mine:

Remove the central heater vent, which is above the central console. This is easily pried out with a flat headed screwdriver, but be careful not to dig into the main dashboard.

Once it's out you will be able to see the back of the clock. You can then pull off the 2 leads (don't loose them) and wait about 5 minutes and then reconnect.

This is basically the old standard power off and on procedure we have all used on PCs at one time or another.

Hope this helps and welcome to the forum ;)

Is it the sleeve part of the heater dial that is still attached? You should be able to extract it with a pair of long nosed pliers.
Genuine Black / Silver MGF MGTF Heater Control Knob

There is also a little spring clip inside it that grips theshaft of the heater control unit. Make sure this comes out as well before trying to refit the new one.
