Mmm, not a lot of that rotor being used!
My lump hammer was used so much I ended up with separate bells and rotors:rofl:

Blimey!
After the rotor came off how did you get the bell free? I would have been inclined to take the angle grinder to it at that point!
I hade a very pleasant surprise today. The mailman finally delivered my LHD Trophy Headlamps.
I had just about given up on them ever getting here and had started the (bl**dy hopeless) clain procedure on E-bay.
The parcel looked like it had been through the wringer. Fortunately the seller had used the styrofoam packing and boxes from
MG Rover headlamps and that saved them. The foam was broken to pieces but it saved the lights.
There's another installation project for Sunday!:woohoo:

Did you shake the boxes before you opened them?
On the brake discs, the strange thing was that as soon as the rotor cracked off, the bell became loose. Thank God!

OK - had a day off on Friday.
LEDs arrived Saturday and were fitted.
When I bought that roll hoops that we fitted on Thursday they came with a T-Bar
However, due to the complete lack of packaging, they were smashed in transit
So my son and I spent 4 hours VERY carefully Dremelling away at our existing T-Bar and the job is now complete
So roll hoops, carbon fibre centre console and LEDs all done in the last 5 days :woohoo:
Pics will follow shortly

GOOD FRIDAY:
Golf this afternoon with my mate followed by pub grub this evening. (Boot is the perfect size for a bag of clubs). The rain that was promised held off long enough for the drive across Bodmin Moor to the pub with roofs down. Here is a pic of our cars parked at Bowithick Bridge on Bodmin Moor ...... incidentely, it was by borrowing my mates car for a week last autumn that made my mind up to get a convertible again. Not quite the money for an sl, but who cares, at least I'm doing more than 17 mpg.
Weather set fine for the rest of the bank holiday weekend. Hope you all have a good Eatser weekend

Nice one!
I spent the day attending to a rust spot, and changing the bulbs in the hi-level brake light to leds.
Not very exciting!

I have been spending the afternoon claying the MGF.
It really is a simple but effective way to bring up the finish.
The one drawback is that I am now aware of every scratch and stone chip on the car!
I'm just taking a short coffee break then it's back outside for a coat of wax.
We'll wrap up the day with some BBQ burgers and a trip to the theatre to see "Rio" in 3D
That's a good day!
(Tomorrow I get to build a pantry unit for the kitchen. :S
Cheers,
Rich
