Must have been bad to have to grind it off, a new guide pin set, boots and bolts (4 units) will set you back around £55. You cant buy just one pin only. but you can buy the bolts in ones" assume the pin was also seized in the carrier. were you using Plusgas to break the rust bond, a lot of people think that WD40 will do the job, but it wont. it is a Water Dispersant and not a penetrating oil. i know it is easy to say now but a bit of heat on the bolt head may have helped. Or ,or, or, you could have used the "rough luck" method >>>> hit it with a big hammer:woohoo: were the calipers seized?? :shrug:
