This F was made during the early part of 1995, has vin number 000087 and is one of the first pre production cars.

That's an unusual colour combination on the early F.

I gather it came like that, the paperwork that came with the car from MGR was quite clear that the car was "not of production standard" as it was one of the 98 pre production prototype cars that were made during the early part of 1995. Most of them were registered in early August (in Coventry) as "N" reg and were used as press and show cars . it was writing about this car in MG Enthusiast that won me the letter of the month prize for the second time.
