Only gone and bought one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone ,been looking for a while and last night took the plunge and bought a 99 plate 75th special edition mgf in black with a lovely red roof and interior .
Bought it blind of ebay and at a good price! ( mad i know)
pick her up on thursday fingers crossed !
will post more when I have pics etc

like you i bought my car via ebay an sunstorm silver limited edition,it failed to reach its reserve went two see it days days later fell in love on sight.fought hard to keep my emotions down.and do some serious haggling had it 5yrs and its a goodun. wishing you good luck with your new car,get the top down and go have some fun CHEERS RON.

I bought Meg 5 years ago now, blind off eBay as well - just from two pictures.... loved her every minute since!

A BIG WELCOME TO THE T BAR :woohoo: :woohoo: Prices on eBay apear to be very low at the moment, i think many pepole are scared by the stories about HGF and mega bills. yours sounds to be a lovely car and with the testimony's from others about buying blind. Be interested to know what you paid (wont be offended if you dont) :shrug: We are a good bunch on this forum so ask any questions, however small and they will be answered. and post some pictures too.

Hi all ,thanks for all the posative comments I paid a grand for the car so thought it wasnt a great deal of money to chance also had a few mods which seemed sensible and the seller who I spoke to seemed like a decent sort .

Good choice on the 75th Anniversary, I have had one for the last 4 years and its been brilliant. Black with the red roof is the best colour combo as well :thumbsup:
