Without wanting to seem defeatist if that is a word
I think its time for me to take a hint from my F and dump it on my mother drive for a few years
Yup after I was kindly donate a cylinder head at had it fitted on monday, it passed its MOT on Thursday and now has gone BANG again on sunday on the way home from the pride of longbridge where it had been great all day
I'm sure some will remember I was in two minds if I should sell it in bits last time this happened, well now I can't part with it so shes staying but is being taken off the road for God knows how long I really could care less about the damm thing at the moment
My new car is a Toyota 4x4 till this goes to my brother next month and then I'm in a Ford Maverick....lol

The problem is that you are trying to run a one off on a very slim budget.
Wait until you are in a better situation financially and then make the F the best damn car out there, after mine of course.

I saw your post on Facebook, Jon. It's really sad that the engine has let go again.:yesnod:
You really deserve some better luck, mate.
Hope you can raise enough enthusiasm to resurrect the F. It really is a one off.
I hope you will stick around the forum, anyway.:yesnod:

Frustrating.
I dumped my maestro T16 on my dads drive over 3 years ago, it sits there looking at me with sad eyes every time I go past which is almost every day, take a few days off from your F and give it some love, it'll pay you back, especially when you climb down out of your 4x4 and slip into her.
