Delphi Track Rod Ends was created by cjj

I have 2 Delphi track rod ends that I bought from Mindy but I cannot find any info on the part numbers.

Both my Steering rack outer ball joints need replacing so I need to confirm if the delphi ones are the correct item and which one is nearside and which is offside.

The numbers stamped on the joints are:

AK18E

and

AK12E

I haven't been able to find the part numbers on Google yet and the Delphi site is useless.

Anyone know?

These are the numbers

And the ends themselves.

There are differences, but they would fit.

Not sure, but the old ones do look a little worn. ;)

I have ordered 2 new ones just to be on the safe side, if they are the same then I have 2 spares.

You can never have too many spares :)

Yes, they are identical, apart from the numbers stamped on them, so I don't think it is a part number.
