I need to replace mine!
Do I need to remove the track rod end from the rack or will it go over if I split the TRE from the hub?
Are they different for assisted and non assisted racks, Rimmers only list them for non assisted.

You would need to remove the TRE with a standard gaitor. :yesnod:
I'm sure I've seen split gaitors that just wrap round without the need to dis-assemble anything.
