The speed of sound!

Well, today I was taking my mother to Newcastle Airport along the A69. She's off to visit my sister who lives in Flores, Indonesia.

I was tootling along at 70mph on the dual carriageway in her Peugeot 306 diesel...( what a pleasure!:lol:)


...when I saw a Porsche approaching quite quickly from behind. It went passed doing around a 100-110mph. I tutted as the green Carrera 4 smooched passed in the outside lane.


A few seconds later, I began to hear a roar that was growing nearer and getting louder, I thought that an RAF jet was flying over.
The floor pan of the Peugeot began to resonate in sympathy with the approaching thunderstorm. I glanced in my mirror and had time to gasp, 'Oh my God!' And a big bright red missile went passed so fast the space time continuum was distorted and the clock began to go backwards.:rofl:











It was one of these!

And in the flesh it's very impressive looking and sounds amazing!
