You need Clive or somebody experienced with the TF to advise on the 160. :shrug:rayb wrote: well im looking at buying a mgtf, i know the ins and outs of the f. but not so much the tfs only that they have a hasher ride. is there anything else i should look out for when buying a tf. im very tempted at the 160 . any help please

The TF is basically the same as an F as a car.
The main differences are that it has standard suspension. This gives it more of a gokart feel when cornering. I like this but some don't, but one advantage of this setup is that you can buy different aftermarket springs and dampers to give you the ride you want.
The facelift of the body gives you better headlights and better aerodynamics, due to an extended boot lip and a built in front splitter.
The TF160 gives me the power and revs that I am used to from biking. It is arguably the better engine as it is lower emissions, higher output, better fuel consumption and lower tax band on some cars.
If you are going from an F I would suggest test driving a few TFs to see if they suit.
After all this, I see you are committed anyway, so take your time and get yourself a good one. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
