The Xpower forums run from the same servers as .ORG, Looking more like a server failure than a hack,
If it was hacked should have been restored from backup by now, Really supprised that it is still down though.

Thinking about it, it is a good Hack target as it has a big userbase and running on old software, somebody will pay good money for all those account details and email address from the site

I'd say for a least 60% of the users, having their username, email and password, gets you access to all the sites they visit, Paypal and ebay included, plus access to their webmail account.

The other 40% of people will have used different password for each site and will be safe.

Unfortunate but we have everything here for the MG F/TF owners, friendly forum, experts regularly online and a how to section to rival any site.

so if you're searching google to find out

why is mg-rover.org offline look here for all your needs

I reckon it was an MGF owner' revenge for Phil's (phil-hex) comment on the F compared to a TF :P
