Putting the black back

My hood has started to fade, in particular in the areas where it meets the frame. Is there a suggested product to apply to give it its black back? Also, I'm thinking about resealing it sometime soon, although there are no signs of leaks I'm of the opinion prevention is better than cure. Again, any recommended product. And finally, if there is a product for re-applying the colour, should this be done before or after re sealing?
As usual, thanks in advance.

Renovo have a range of hood products that are all good.
Autoglym do cleaner and reproofer as do Turtle wax.

Renovo , i believe are the only ones who do renovator (recolouring).

You need to clean, re-colour and re-waterproof in that order.

I used the Renovo system on my hood recently and it brought the black back nicely and water beads up on the material.
It will not reoair differences in texture of the fabric caused by abrasion though.

Vacuming makes a difference as it pulls all the dust out.

The RENOVO system is far better than the Autoglym one, i have seen hoods done with this and they look like new. a really good clean first is very important, then colour and reproof. System is not cheap, but you get what you pay for. But as Rich has said it will not cover up wear that alters the texture of the mohair. RENOVO is owned by British Motor Heritage is it cheaper to buy direct from them at www.motoringclassics.co.uk
