Yeah - sorry should have mentioned that, but i opted for mild steel option as it's cheaper and out of sight. (my wallet came with its own crowbar)

The downpipe looks good, all the gaskets are there and as are 6 nuts and bolts for the cat and the middle hanger rubber and the 2 rear rubber mounts.

The cat heat sheilds look a bit battered and the silencer has a couple of dents, both possibly from poor packing and carrage but I don't think they will effect perfomance. The chrome ends seem to be shorter than the O/E pipe and they don't go as far back, I'll have to wait until it is fitted to see if it makes a difference.

Overall the silencer looks ok but there is a bit of splatter from the welds. Interestingly the tail pipes are slightly bigger bore than the O/E but they have been manderal bent rather than drawn so loos a bit of circumference (that bit sounds like I know what I am talking about).

I wish I'd known how much better the O/E band was than the new one or I wouldn't have cut it to remove it. It will do the job but just isn't as nice.

I was a bit disappointed that they didn't supply a clamp bolt for the band or bolts for the O/S silencer mount.

The lambda probe looks correct.

Anyway, back on topic, the downpipe looks good.

I have now fitted this and got an MOT pass - overall there were no problems except the bolts on the O/S were a bit glose so had to be "split" to fit the mounting bracket and now it is on the car the O/S pipe is a little high, again I suspect the same bolts are a little low so when it's dry outside I shall look at adjusting them some more.

Unfortunatly the tips don't look quite as good as O/E.

I haven't noticed any difference in performance but I've only done 20 miles with it in rush hour traffic and previously hadn't really driven the car for 8 months.
