well its that time of year again and i would like to give my hood a good clean and reproof, theres a few good cleaners out there i.e renovo, any members reconmendtions im just looking at cleaning then reproofing my hood, for you guys up north before winter sets in :P only kidding we have had some sunshine :ohmy:

I use the Autoglym soft top cleaning and waterproofer kit available at all auto stores beginning HAL...
I've also used the Turtle wax version - just as good, imo

I found Renovo very good :yesnod:

Just make sure you cover the paintwork when using the re-colour, as it's a b*gger to get off and you can't avoid splatters, as it's very thin ;)

I'm probably teaching my grandmother to suck eggs but make sure the first thing you do is give the hood a thorough vacuum clean first, it still surprises me just how much sand/grit/dust comes out of a hood which looks fairly clean.
