OK I have put on a little weight lately but nothing that should account for the creaking/squeaking sound which has just started coming from the nearside front suspension.

I can't tell exactly where it's coming from with the bonnet open, so before I enlist the help of my son to bounce the car, so I can investigate further what is likely to be the main suspect?

Thanks in advance

I'm afraid I don't answer personal questions on public forums :P

If these nipples do exist on my car, where are they and how often should I grease them :-?

Drinking excess amounts of tea and other liquids from one's T-Bar mug could well account for unexpected weight gain.
Just my 2p
Now I'm off to check out David's nipples.

OK Now that I know I have nipples to legitimately grease and, as I never did, I guess they haven't been greased in a very long time, I guess I should grease them.

Question
Would un-greased nipples manifest themselves as creaking/squeaking suspension?
If yes how do I grease them, if no any other suggestions as to the culprit causing my embarrassing noises.

BTW David what a great set of photo's, some of them could be used in a T-Bar competition of "Name the Part"

Ungreased nipples does cause creaking/squeaking in the suspension. There are other sources but a good grease is the best first step.

The piccies are the ones I find are continually needed, some are mine some shamelessly nicked from others.
