Went to this one today.
I thought this was a fantastic event which would make a great day out for the whole family in a beautiful setting.

Not only the field full of 500+ cars, but also a variety of stalls, numerous things for the kids to play on and for them to do - a car boot sale, a beer tent, live music, plenty of food stalls which meant little queueing and of course the house and estate itself to explore. http://www.plymouth.gov.uk/mevisitorinformation
The main car park was £5 per car (pedestrians/cyclists entered free). I entered the first car park I came across which happened to be a P&D; 4 hours was £1.60, which was a saving of £3.40 over the main car park. The downside was a five minute walk down the hill (steep). Either way - fantastic value.
The sun shone all the while I was there (11.00 - 2.30ish); although rain was due to come in later ..... which I met on the way home (biblical proportions).
Of the MG's, I counted about 2 dozen in all. Only one 'F' and no TF's (Think I'll enter mine next year). Several b's, A Maestro which I photographed especially for 'Talking Cars' and away from the MG stand I did spot a few others - A very nice 'b' V8 conversion for sale. In contrast to the one 'F', there were loads of MX5s.
The bad part of the day was when the battery on my camera gave out. I'd made sure to save from my memory card before I went so that it was empty but neglected to check the battery. Managed to take 100 before it stopped though. Had I known I would have taken less of the American cars, which were the first you came across, and saved some for later . There were several I would have liked to have taken pictures of. Normally at car boot sales you can guarantee a stall selling batteries - not today!
Anyway, what pics I managed to take will be on the interweb; once I've reduced file sizes and uploaded (I need to reduce file size owing to awful broadband speed here). Will post link when done.

.....and here are the pictures, sorry that they are low res. As mentioned above, it takes me a dog's age to upload. Kind of glad my battery went or I would have had 500 or so to do:). Also apologies for the odd marks on some of the pics .... I appear to have smeg on my sensor. Anyway, hope you like. My favourite was a close choice between the Daimler Dart and the red & white Triumph Herald Vitesse.

There was a good turn out of Dolomites. In fact the Triumph section in general had a good turn out .... it was as I made my way to the Stags that the camera gave out.
