Well I finished removing almost all parts of any use from Fleur and then a rag 'n' bone guy came past and offered to cut up the shell and take it away - so I said yes....
Anyway he cut it and took it away as agreed (I kept the VIN Plate for the DVLA scrapping) - and he did a nice clean up jobn on my drive of any scrappy bits of crap that fell off as he cut her... but...
I went to the DVLA website to figure out how to tell them she was no more and it seems I was supposed to use an authorised disposal centre or something! So question is how the hell do I get rid of having to SORN her now?

The option to scrap the car is on the log book. Just fill in the slip telling dvla that you have scrapped the car and send it to them

YES, it is half way down the first page of the V5, section 16,17 & 18. Photocopy the V5 before sending it back to the DVLA and send it Recorded so you know its got there ~ keep the vin strip.
