Hey, we are getting off topic here! Hope to be in production with some self aligning poly mounts next week.

Meanwhile.....back to colours .....
Daz sells and installs nice leather seats - in red. And carpets too. I can't make my mind up which seats to go for. Red/Black/Cream (had my paint done recently in BRG pearlescent with a dash or two of met.purple in it). SWMBO likes Cream but I think Red could be good.

we have a couple of race lotus cars as well as a race mg tf car we are working on in the barn workshop.due to the fact customers arnt allowed up there due to the horses plus the customers whose race cars we are working on dont want people seeing there cars, the lotus are the same team.a race mgf is half the wieght of a road car.different rack on the steering.much improved brakes .bais control on the brakes,on board fire kit.straight through exhaust.boot mounted air intake.gas flowed head.
0 to 60 in around 6 seconds.suspension is race polybushed, carbon dampers.race caged and race stressed body.lowered to improve air flow.front spliter and adjustable rear wing.top speed 135.approx.
race tyres .electric water pump
stipping the car of seats, roof, door cards.window winders, etc loses around 250 kg.we are even working on making the sub frames out of alli to save a lot of weight.the sub frames are very very heavy.
But if we drove the car on the road it wouldnt handle and would ground out all the time.

I'd also be very interested in these! My rubber mount has seen better days and is currently eating away on my flexipipe :(

Are they going to be sold?

Please bear with me!
I need to acquire a stock of shackles to start production - and will sell on an exchange basis.
It transpires that my source for the intial stock has chucked out all their worn out shackles, so I'm on the hunt for another supplier.

My exchange units will be filled with poly instead of rubber and have a sliding internal bush. The metal shackle will be cleaned up and have a black hammerite finish.

Sadly not as many shackles as he thought he had! I dropped by his place on Friday to see if anymore[no]. Saw the "wife's new car" in early stages of build and other projects. The seats and hoops he does are top drawer. I want some.
