Guys, I am continuing with the Brakes suspension replacement rebuild plan ( nearly there). However, I fitted the braided hoses to the rears no problems but stuck on hoses for the front. The hoses I have runs from pipe connection in wheel arch through to the calliper. No probs i thought, however, the fixing bracket with the kit has nothing to mount to. If i leave the hose without restrain its likely to foul the under the bumpstop and then get ripped off under steering. I looked at CJJ's guide but the TF has a different fixing so its no help. Have any of you fitted this type of hose and could you share where you mounted the restraint or the routing to avoid fouling.

Thanks

Could you fabricate something to attach to the lower shocker bolt?

I agree that's possible. However the clip that was sent with the hoses looks like it would fit onto of the bolts near to the Bump stop and before i started out with some hammers and strips of metal, i wondered if anybody else faced this challenge and come up with a neat routing.

I made a fitting out of the bit that bolts in on the old hose and cable tied the braided ones to these.

There should be a rubber lined metal "P" clip in the hose kit and this fixes to the same place that the original one fitted to at the centre (bottom bolt of shock absorber)

Bryan, there was a pair of small P clips but the hole diameter is probably only about 5/6mm so it wont go onto the shock bracket. I think the answer is cable ties on the bottom neck of the shock and do as the guys suggest a check on full lock before finalising. Thanks for the guidance. N
