Posted 13 years 2 months ago #28054Most people just want to do basic stuff, things that to be honest isnt worth us doing ,
We can spend two hours with window adjustment and we can charge what £20.but we can fit a roof and seats in that time and help pay our bills.
I like the forum and you guys seem a nice bunch,so any help will be free.I can always help out where I can on the forum, but at present its been general maintance and repair.
To be honest resetting the epas we have only done once, simply because its cheaper and quicker to change the whole unit then spend time adjusting it,fitting it and testing it,So believe it or not some jobs you guys can do better then us.We only get th major stuff, engine rebuilds,
Last time I fixed a window was a long time ago. mind you we can bring our pump along and show people a easy way to see if your car is the right level,

Posted 13 years 2 months ago #28127The Northern versions of this have been a great success! We used a warehouse type building with electricity and toilets(very handy)
Outside was an area for a barbecue and water supply for washing etc.
You will need to think about disposal of waste oil/replaced parts etc. too.
Once you've got a venue, sort out a day and date, and advertise it on the forum. Simples
If you want Daz, Russel and/or Jon to attend you will need to ask them with plenty of notice, with an good idea of what people are wanting done.

Posted 13 years 2 months ago #28234Is it best to leave the idea until the spring?
What say you?
