I think this may be what I need to generate a speed pulse signal for a Pioneer sat nav :thumbsup:

I have asked the question on his auction but would like to know what the experts think? ;)

Why does it need a pot, what does the user have to adjust or does one manual dial in the amount of assistance required at any given time?

The way I read it you dial in what assistance you need by simulating the speed signal via the pot.

if its on ebay,its cheap and promises to work wonders its rubbish,if it was that easy to fix rover would have fixed it.for £40 buy a second hand unit from a breakers.
