well its rose its ugly head up, i had a funny feeling about this as somebody had filled the coolant with k seal as its a one owner with sevice history i think it was a dirty rotten trick to play knowing that the gasket was on its way out  . any way from my previous thead i had cleaned the coolant tank out and rebleed the system, there was only a bit of mayo on the dipstick, checked today as i only warmed the engine to check for leaks thick mayo on the dipstick and coffee mayo in the coolant tank.
closest garage i could trust to do the work says £400-£800 depending on if the liners have dropped. been trying to get hold of russell but no joy :nonod:

If you supply a nice cuppa and a bacon sarnie, Russell will pose for you, no probs. ;)

Russell is a great guy, he runs on Tea and bacon sarnies and you will soon find out why he is called Saint Russell. He is unique

I bet the guy that stitched you up is now shaking in his boots :bust:

Please keep us up to date with progress. :yesnod:

Russell has been here this morning doing a few pieces and doing a pressure test to try and track down my slight coolant loss. Looks like it's a coolant cap that is not quite holding enough pressure.

Top man and BTW, this morning he was running on coffee rather than tea :P
