TF ECU SWAP 115 <> 135
I'd like to better understand the possibility to swap the MEMS ECU between 115 and 135 hp or viceversa.
In Italy Rover sold 1800 TF 115 versus 180 TF 135.
So find parts for my 135 from breakers is not evident, I found several 115 sold as spare parts.
What do I've to do to swap a 115 ecu into my 135 ?
What about the other electronic devices: anti thief, epas, being all interlinked among them

I don't think it is possible. The 115 has different fuelling, different head, different throttle body to the 135. To change to the 115 ecu you would need to change all this on your 135 to match.

This was my doubt, but it should be possible to replace the original software or better the data base with the original parameters.
So the right thing should be to create a back up of the ecu.

The physical ECU should be the same, its just the map data inside that is different between them.

Uhmmm could you pls be more detailed:
what do you means " change engine specs all the time" ?
change ECU alarm I know the alarm code are resident in the ECU
So basically suppose I've a MEMS3 ECU from a TF115 and I want to install it on a TF135, what exactly do I've to do ?
Grazie mille
