Well...I replaced the thermostat housing last weekend....2nd time round it is MUCH easier...still need to drain and refill coolant obviously but easier (well except one awkward bolt holding metal pipes to block which took 90 minutes and a "coffee (swearing) break" before it went back in.
Have driven to work twice and back since and so far....no coolant loss. so looks like my leak is solved.
Hopefully, with an F to play with again,. I can get some happiness back in my life and get more social....i.e. get back on this forum instead of sleeping/moaning lol
Other than that the F is being awesome and I sit at night waiting till morning so I can drive it again....the love is still there.. . Fixed some centre console probs, heater cable probs etc recently, greased nipples at weekend (they were pretty much empty!!), pumped up hydragas, installed new washer pump motor, and basically all is good
Only one job left for winter...find a replacement "multiplug" for hardtop demister ("in-car" loom) as it was crushed by softop last year
Cheers...and once again....I WILL be back!!!!

Hya, Iain.
Good to hear you sorted the leak(hopefully) :broon:
There was someone on the forum from your area looking for a pump up. I'll see if I can find the post.
