If I was to buy a replacement stainless exhaust I would want a noise level not much louder than the stock unit.
There are lots of loud exhausts available for the MGF and not everyone wants to be a boy racer so a reasonable sound level is a must for me.

There was a reasonable chunk of consensus there about wanting a throaty sound, and quality of the noise being better than it being super loud.
The other thing that seemed to be popular was having a big range of finishers.
I've still got the thread open on my desktop at home. I'll dig the link out when I get done with work.

To me, the only downside of the Daytona is the price.

Theres plenty of noisy aftermarket stainless exhausts on the market but nothing much near standard, so for me develope a near standard exhaust in stainless with a few tweaks to make a nice noise without being deafened

Sergi Bmw wrote: So David You would recommend a daytona in front of a TT MK7 if you don't mind the cost? Any other alternatives?
Personally, having heard most exhausts, I would go for the Daytona, followed by the Blueflame.
I have not heard the TT mk7in action, but I have heard the other TTs and wouldn't have one for free, tbh.
However that is purely my preference, others have differing viewpoints.

Blasphemy, I tell you! Cutting up a Daytona? :omg: :bust:
Re the TTs that's what I don't like - they tend to drone and get annoying, tbh.
