can it be done without warning lights? stupid electic servo assist is pooh and needs to be binned, rather just not have power steering...

can one get a quick rack for a mk2 MGF too?

There was a page which had a switched relay circuit so you could switch the power steering off and back on again if needed, and without activating the warning light on the dash.

Daz should be able to tell you, as he retro fits EPAS to cars without the system, he will probably take your old one, send him a PM just in case he does not see this reply :yesnod:

the switch seems like a nice elegant solutions and retains the ability to park easilly :)

i think i will go that route.
