Steering Sensor.

Hi to all my name is Chris i am new to this site.My MGF pulls to the left at slow speed,i found a How to adjust the sensor on this site & im am going to attempt this myself once i get a multimeter.Please can anyone tell me if this would be a MOT failure if it was left as it is as its only at slow speeds. Thanks.

Hi Chris,this is a debatable point. There are plenty of mgfs and Tfs running around with this problem that have passed the MOT. However there are also a few people who have been failed on it.

So it looks as if it is down to how the tester feels? Usually after failing it they then tell you you need a new steering column! :omg: So a specialist mot test station is probably a better bet than some garage looking to make money out of you. :whistle:
