Hi all,
Has anyone had any experience of recolouring their soft top?
My grey top is showing black stain marks (looks like soot) that I cannot remove after various attempts using renovo cleaner and good old soap and water.
I was thinking of trying Renovo colour reviver/restorer or another fabric dye that is currently on E-Bay and recolouring it black.
My wife says I will make a pigs ear of it and to leave it alone, but it makes the car scruffy looking and I dont want to shell out on a new top.
Any info would be greatly recieved.
Cheers.

There's been quite a few people who've successfully recoloured the hood to black. :yesnod:
If you want to come over, we can both have a go at it. I've also got some black fabric dye that I used to turn some grey carpets in the Nissan to black.

I was recenty given a grey roof to replace the leaking black one I had - thanks Maggie
Renovo worked great, wit the added bonus of the interior staying grey, which makes it less claustrophobic.
When you do the roof make sure you cover all your paintwoek - because splashes and runs are inevitable
