door seals (to hood)
following on from the whoops car got crashed in to thread...
had a new door, and the glass now sits in a slightly different possition to the old door, and there is a small gap at the top front edge, and rear edge of the glass to the old seal...
i think i just need a new seal... (glass is at its max adjustment up and back...)
any idea where i get this from? and how much?
cheers

Getting the windows right is a black art to be honest.
If you want to plump up the seals a bit use silicone tubing as the fish tank type eventually crushes and becomes useless.(As I have found out.
There should be more than enough adjustment in the windows to allow the windows to sit well above the seal position.
So it sounds as if you need a bit more glass adjustment. :yesnod:
If you look in my photo folder - Useful pics - on the forum you'll see a few photos of how the window should meet the seals.
Also remember that you can adjust the roof to bring the top seal down too.

I assumed you used the roof adjusters Laz? You know, the parts you open / close it with. Not a 100% sure though.
