Well I decided that I'd like some more walnut to go with Meg's erm...'walnut' beige interior, so after a bit of swapsies or door caps, and a £4.99 kit off eBay for the vents she looks like this:
I'll be needing my pipe and slippers next (before any says it!)....

Those storage things on the bottom of the doors look handy. Any info on them please?

Excellent job there
Leigh - the door pods were made by Mike Satur. I've been after a pair for my car but retail they are £100+ for the pair, so I've been trawling eBay but no luck yet

Thanks guys. The pods were from elsewhere, not MS - I ended up getting them cheap (about £20 from what i remember all those years ago!) - but they certainly retailed at about £90!! Insane at that price. They are also a bit 'thin' and next spring I am going to make them thicker with some P40 on the inside of them, then cover them with leather I think.
It's amazing how many jobs you realise you haven't done when you finish something small... I found the rear parts for the air-con and the TF Boot and rear bumper, and the spare passenger door (all need spraying!) in the shed when I got the wood out! LOL

That's right, these had been available from the MGOC shop until about 2008. Quite pricy though. The pods were from elsewhere, not MS

It's starting to bug me  - it's the only bit of interior I still have on my wants list but the price, if available, stings for 2 bits of moulded plastic.
Oh, and I do want a carbon fibre instrument surround and trims for the door pods
and alloy FX rear speaker covers - that were never made :nonod:
