How does the darkside spread?

I see cars on a daily basis here that are obviously form the darkside. Today for example I saw an F with a nice shiny SS backbox and massive pipes (not as big as mine) and other bling AND a TF with aftermarket exhaust and lexus lights and side intake pods.

Butnone of them are on here, or on org. I reckon there are several hundred MGF/TFs in the city, some of them I know from the local MG club and the odd rare occasion there is an orger.

How do the "modders" get the darkside when they are not members of any of the forums (MGF reg/.org/tbar etc)

Is it just the force?

I think a lot of them are people who just visit the forums to get ideas, but don't necessarily want to join up! Good luck to them anyway, I say :yesnod:

Have flyers for T-bar been discussed before?

I think they just look in, but dont join, i have handed out loads of cards and the only one i know that has joined is Helen & Nigel (Mr & Mrs Spark) We have about 50 MGFs and TFs in our Epsom Area Club and although i have been plugging the T Bar many times we still only have a few that have joined. Some are into the Darkside in a big way, have looked in from time to time but not joined.

i think we have to push the forum at every oppitunity :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Of course I am. Used to hand out cards for org that I made, but then I got into trouble for not using "official" ones....which didn't even exist for another 18 months afterwards So I gave up...

Nice one....will print out a bunch and laminate them (for NE Scotland weather reasons) and stick some in the F and in the gold too, just in case

Thanks for the thoughts, but it's not that simple. :nonod: For some reason the paste facility actually disappears.ie you cannot paste whatever you try. At the moment the only way to recover it is to close down and restart the computer.
I had this problem on my previous laptop, and thought it would be gone on my new one. WRONG! If I use Office I have to call up the full clipboard to be able to paste, rather than the right click option.

It seems to happen most often when I try to copy a photo from Photobucket or copy a video from Youtube.
And it is driving me NUTSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Thats a point is the common factor between your machines, Open Office?
